Mrcheveli Medical Center is a member, international partner, and regional representative of the Limbach Group diagnostics network in the South Caucasus. Established in 2000, Mrcheveli operates 10 branches across Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, and Zugdidi.

Mrcheveli provides a broad range of laboratory diagnostics conducted both locally and at international partner laboratories. All testing is performed in accordance with international quality standards, professional association guidelines and quality control requirements.

Fully automated processes drive the majority of our testing, ensuring standardization and precision. A critical component of this workflow is the pre-analytical phase, which focuses on standardized specimen collection, validated collection systems, and precise handling. .In alignment with Limbach Group laboratories in Germany, Mrcheveli utilizes German-engineered Sarstedt collection systems.

To ensure safety and maintain sample integrity during international transit, specimens are transported in accordance with IATA regulations

Once collected, patient specimens are securely retained at the Mrcheveli laboratory for 7 days. This allows for any necessary follow-up testing without requiring patients to return for a repeat blood draw.

Specialized attention is dedicated to pediatric patients. The center utilizes Sarstedt pediatric collection tubes and winged collection sets (“butterflies”), specifically designed to minimize discomfort and ensure rapid, stable blood flow.

For enhanced patient convenience and accessibility, Mrcheveli provides professional home-visit sample collection services free of charge.

Our centralized Patient Support Center provides comprehensive information on available clinical services and laboratory testing. Patient data confidentiality is protected, and a safe environment is maintained for both patients and staff.
