Details:
- The sample should not be collected during menstruation or in the presence of bleeding hemorrhoids.
- Alcohol, aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and other medications that affect the gastrointestinal tract should not be taken for 48 hours before sample collection.
- No dietary restrictions are required, as food intake does not affect the test result.
