Discontinue the following foods and drugs 3–4 days prior to urine collection: pineapples, aubergines, avocados, bananas, currants, melons, mirabelles, gooseberries, tomatoes, walnuts, plums, caffeine, coumarin, ephedrine HCl, isoniazid, levodopa, methamphetamine, methenamine, methocarbamol, nicotine, phenobarbital, phentolamine, promethazine, streptozocin. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) and ASA should also not be taken less than 2 days before testing.
