Laboratory Supplies
- 1 stool or 1 fecal container
The following information must be indicated on the fecal container
- Patient’s first and last name
- Date of birth
- Date of sample collection
Stool Sample Collection Procedure:
- Before the collection process and 96 hours prior to the collection, the patient should not have taken the following:
- Barium
- Laxatives
Material Required: Fresh stool sample ≥ 10 ml
Important Note: Formed stool or stool placed in a colored container cannot be used for the analysis.
