Gigi Silagadze, a radiologist, joined “Mrcheveli” in 2012. He specializes in pediatric and adult general and specialty ultrasound, combining comprehensive clinical practice with regular participation in international professional development programs.
Dr. Silagadze’s clinical practice includes ultrasound evaluation of the hepatobiliary and urinary systems, thyroid, breast, and salivary glands, testes, and the prostate, as well as obstetric and gynecological ultrasound. His specialized clinical interests focus on obstetric-gynecological ultrasound and fetal medicine.
A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University, Dr. Silagadze completed his residency in medical radiology at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University between 2010 and 2013.
He completed a clinical fellowship at Caritas-Krankenhaus Bad Mergentheim in Germany. Dr. Silagadze regularly participates in advanced international training initiatives and congresses, including the VISUS Advanced Course in Fetal Medicine and Gynecology in Berlin, the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) World Congress, and international symposia and world congresses organized by the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG).
